In Tradogram, deleting a delivery record effectively reverses the receipt of goods for that specific entry. Because this action impacts inventory levels and order statuses, it is important to understand the permanent nature of this process.
Deleting a delivery entry erases the record entirely from the system. Just like other primary records in Tradogram, deleted deliveries cannot be recovered.
Buyer & Supplier Sync: If the delivery was received from a connected supplier account, the entry will be removed from both the buyer’s and the supplier’s systems to maintain synchronized records.
When a delivery is deleted, the associated Purchase Order (PO) will automatically revert to its status prior to that specific delivery being recorded.
If the delivery was originally "Distributed" to a specific stock location, deleting the delivery entry will automatically subtract those quantities from your inventory levels. This ensures your stock counts remain accurate and reflect only the deliveries currently recorded in the system.
To maintain accountability and prevent accidental data loss, the ability to delete or clear a delivery is restricted. Only the specific user who initially created the delivery record has the authority to delete it.
Note: Even if you are a Company Administrator, if you did not personally create the delivery record, you will not see the option to delete or clear it.
Before deleting a delivery, consider if an Edit is more appropriate. If you simply entered the wrong quantity or date, editing the existing delivery record allows you to correct the data while preserving the original document's history and ID number.
