How can the time zone and currency be configured for a branch?

Tradogram allows you to customize regional settings for each individual branch. This ensures that your local team sees accurate timestamps on their activities and that all transactions default to the correct local currency.

Step-by-Step Configuration

To update these settings, you must have Company Admin or Branch Admin permissions.

  1. Navigate to Manage Branch: Click on the Manage Branch option in the right-hand corner.
  1. Locate Settings: Select Branch profile and find settings on the right-hand side.
  1. Update Currency & Time Zone:
    • Default Currency: Select your preferred currency from the dropdown menu. This will be the default for all new Requisitions and POs created within this branch.
    • Time Zone: Select the local time zone. This will synchronize the "Created At" and "Approved At" timestamps on your documents.
  1. Save Changes: Click the Save button at the bottom of the page to apply your updates.

Important Considerations

  • Reporting Impact: Changing the default currency will affect how future spend is calculated in your reports. It will not retroactively change the currency of already completed or "Closed" transactions.
  • Multi-Currency Support: If you frequently purchase from international suppliers, you can still change the currency on a per-transaction basis even if your branch has a different default set.
