Import Error - CSV column headers do not match

Issue:

Trying to import data using the import file template on Tradogram and you face the following error message:

“CSV column headers do not match.”

Possible Solutions:

  1. Make sure that all the column header titles match the headers used on the template. If you’re not sure, try to download the template – they need to match exactly.
  2. Make sure that the file is saved in Windows CSV. It is VERY important that you check that the fields are separated by commas. View it in a text format if you’re not sure, and if you see semi-colons you might need to change a setting on your computer to make sure that CSV files are saved with a comma separator instead of a semi-colon.
  3. If you are “re-importing” a file that you exported from Tradogram after making changes/edits, make sure that the file has the “code” column there to link it to the entry on your account. You cannot import new items (new rows) on a file that is used for “re-import”. The “re-import” file will always have a “code” column at the front.

If the issue persists, please open a ticket below and make sure to attach the files that you’re having issues with.
