How can user permissions be assigned or edited?

Administrators can control exactly what each user can see and do within Tradogram. Permissions are granular, allowing you to restrict access to specific modules (like Budgets or Inventory) or specific actions (like "Approve" vs. "View Only").

Editing Individual Permissions

To modify the access levels for a specific team member:

  1. Navigate to Users: Click on Manage Company in the top right corner and select the Users button under the company profile.
  1. Navigate to the Users section
  1. Access the Permissions Matrix: Locate the user in your list. Under the Actions column, click the Key Icon (User Permissions).
  1. Configure Access: You will see a list of all Tradogram modules. Scroll through each section to “allow” or “deny” specific permissions
Example: You can allow a user to "View" Purchase Orders but restrict them from "Editing" or "Deleting" them.
  2. Save Changes: Scroll to the bottom and click Save to apply the new settings immediately.

Check out our guide on User Permissions to see a list of all permissions available.

Pro Tip: The "Clone" Feature

If you are setting up a new user who needs the exact same access as an existing team member, you don’t have to toggle every switch manually.

  1. While in the User Permissions screen for the new user, look for the "Clone Permissions" button.
  2. Select the "Source" user whose permissions you want to copy.
  3. Confirm the action. This will instantly mirror all settings, ensuring consistency across your team roles. Please remember to save your changes after you’ve cloned permissions, or they will not apply.
