Can “external items” that are added to an order also be added to the item database?

Yes. During the second step of the creation process for a transaction, external items can be added to the database. To do so, check off the “Add the external items to the database” checkbox option (this will only be available if at least one external item was added to the order).

Once the option has been selected to add the external item to the database, the option to select a category for the external items will also be provided. Only the external items that are checked off during this process will be added to the database.
