What is the inventory management feature used for?

The Inventory Management feature is a core component of Tradogram used to track and control stock levels across your organization. It ensures you always know what items are available, where they are located, and when they were received or released.

Key Capabilities of the Inventory Module

The feature supports managing inventory across one or multiple branches, with each branch maintaining its own separate inventory database for accurate, location-specific visibility.

When using the Inventory module, users gain the ability to perform the following actions:

  • Real-Time Stock Control: Track when goods are received into inventory and when goods are released from inventory.
  • Multi-Location Management: Admins can review and modify stock levels across multiple locations and branches within the company.
  • Direct Receiving: Users can receive goods directly into inventory when entering the Goods Received Note (delivery note) for a purchase order.
  • Requestor Visibility: Requestors can see active inventory levels as they are creating a request, allowing them to submit a request for goods to be released from inventory when needed.

By providing real-time visibility and control, the Inventory Management feature helps companies prevent stockouts, reduce unnecessary over-purchasing, and maintain smooth, efficient operations.
