Why is there an error when attempting to update the password?

If you are receiving an error while trying to update your password, it is most likely because the new password does not meet Tradogram’s specific security and encryption standards.

To ensure your account remains secure and remains compatible with integrated platforms, every password must adhere to a strict set of requirements.

Password Requirements Checklist

Your new password must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Minimum Length: It must be at least 8 characters long.
  • Uppercase Letter: It must contain at least one uppercase letter (A-Z).
  • Lowercase Letter: It must contain at least one lowercase letter (a-z).
  • Number: It must contain at least one numerical digit (0-9).
  • Special Symbol: It must contain at least one of these specific symbols: ! @ # $ % & ?

Important Restriction

Only alphanumeric characters (letters and numbers) and the specific symbols listed above (!@#$%&?) are permitted. Using other symbols (such as periods, commas, or brackets) or using spaces will result in an error.

Troubleshooting Tips

  1. Check for Spaces: Ensure there are no accidental spaces at the beginning or end of your password, especially if you are copying and pasting.
  2. Confirm the Symbol: Double-check that you are using one of the seven approved symbols. A common mistake is using an asterisk (*) or a period (.), which are not currently supported.

Matching Fields: Ensure that the "New Password" and "Confirm New Password" fields are an exact match.
