Can a contract be edited after it’s been created?

In some cases yes – the ability to edit a contract is determined by how that contract was created.

If a contract was created through the contract listing overview page as a standalone document, (and was not sent to a supplier for verification) that contract can be edited at any time by selecting the “Edit Contract” button on that contract’s page.

If a contract was sent to a supplier for verification, that contract will no longer have an edit option available, because it’s assumed that the terms the supplier agreed to in the contract have been locked in by both parties.

Similarly, if a contract was created by using a request to initiate a sourcing event, the created contract will not have an option to edit the details, because it’s assumed that the details in the contract have been agreed upon by all parties involved in the negotiation process.
